About Us
Our name “Lonca” is inspired by the traditional guilds of artisans, where craftsmanship, skill, and community were highly valued.
Today, we carry this spirit into contemporary glassmaking. Working with traditional techniques and a strong understanding of the material, we create our own collections while collaborating with designers, artists and architects on projects that explore new possibilities in glass.
Built on a former helipad, our studio was designed by the architects within the Lonca Studio team, giving an existing structure a new purpose as a space for glassmaking, design and collaboration.
At lonca studio, a team of glass artists, designers, and architects combine their passion for glass and design to create stunning and functional pieces that are not only beautiful but also functional.
The studio’s glass artists are masters of their craft, combining their technical skills with a keen eye for design to produce truly one-of-a-kind pieces.
